The Green Bay Area Public School District is the school district serving Green Bay, Wisconsin. The district was founded in 1856, with the founding of the first public school, Sale School. Sale School has since been demolished.
A referendum for a fifth high school was rejected on February 20, 2007. Despite this, the John Dewey Academy of Learning was created as a charter school.
