Gukovo (Russian: Гу́ково) is a mining town in Rostov Oblast, Russia, located close to the border with Ukraine. Population: 67,278 (2010 Census);66,648 (2002 Census);67,336 (1989 Census).
At 250 meters (820 ft), Gukovo is the highest elevated town in Rostov Oblast.
Within the framework of administrative divisions, it is incorporated as Gukovo Urban Okrug—an administrative unit with the status equal to that of the districts. As a municipal division, this administrative unit also has urban okrug status.
Gukovo is home to one of the few rally-racing clubs in the south of Russia.
