Greatest Hits is a 1970 album by Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass. This was the group's first compilation album with all selections coming from their first five albums. The album was released a few months after Alpert disbanded the group and eventually certified Gold in the spring of 1971. When Greatest Hits was released, Alpert was in the midst of a four-year sabbatical from performing and was concentrating instead on producing records for other artists on his A&M label.
