Hillsdale is a village in St. Louis County, Missouri, United States. The population was 1,478 at the 2010 census.

Hillsdale is located at 38°41′0″N 90°17′10″W / 38.68333°N 90.28611°W / 38.68333; -90.28611 (38.683451, -90.286070).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.35 square miles (0.91 km2), all of it land.

As of the census of 2010, there were 1,478 people, 487 households, and 346 families residing in the village. The population density was 4,222.9 inhabitants per square mile (1,630.5/km2). There were 696 housing units at an average density of 1,988.6 per square mile (767.8/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 2.2% White, 95.9% African American, 0.1% Native American, and 1.7% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.2% of the population.

There were 487 households of which 46.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 18.3% were married couples living together, 42.7% had a female householder with no husband present, 10.1% had a male householder with no wife present, and 29.0% were non-families. 24.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
