Hinduism in the Republic of Ireland is one of the fastest-growing religions by percentage. Despite this, there are only a small number of recognised temples in the country.

The 2016 Irish Census recorded 14,300 Hindu residents in Ireland, making up 0.30% of the population. In 2011, the Irish Census reported 10,688 Hindu residents in Ireland, 0.23% of the population. This was more than triple the number of Hindus in Ireland in 2002(when 3,099 Hindus were recorded) and more than 11 times the number of Hindus in 1991.

In the 2011 Census, the number of Hindus surpassed those who professed to be Methodist (6842, down 5318). Hinduism also surpassed Buddhism (8703, up 2187), which made it the 8th largest religion in Ireland (excluding no religion/not stated).

In the 2016 Irish Census, Hinduism grew by 34% to surpass 14000 people, even faster than Islam (29% increase over the same time period). Hinduism now makes up 0.3% of the population, growing 10-fold as a share of the population in 25 years(from the 1991 census to the 2016 census). Hinduism is now the 7th largest Religion, ahead of Pentecostal.

As of the 2011 Census' in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, there were 4 times as many Hindus nominally(10,688 vs 2,382) and twice as much proportionally(0.30 vs 0.13) in the Republic of Ireland than Northern Ireland.
