Homer Hanna High School is a 6A public high school in Brownsville, Texas (USA) and is one of the successors of "Brownsville High School". It is one of six high schools operated by the Brownsville Independent School District. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency. It was also rated "Not Bad" and "Adequate" by the same system .

Hanna was the subject of the documentary "On the Verge of Destruction: Education in South Texas", which chronicled the lackluster school districts that plague Brownsville,Texas.
In his article "The Effects of A Nuclear Attack on the Rio Grande Valley", William Robert Johnston, a graduate student in physics at the University of Texas at Brownsville, uses Hanna as ground zero when he posits the effects of a Russian nuclear attack which destroys Brownsville and the surrounding area.
