Hormovë is a community in the Gjirokastër County, southern Albania. At the 2015 local government reform it became part of the municipality Tepelenë.

When the Greek War of Independence broke up (1821) a number of locals formed armed groups and supported the Independence struggle in Peloponnese and Central Greece.
