Hornbeam Park railway station opened on 24 August 1992 by British Rail under the Regional Railways sector, and is in the southern suburbs of Harrogate in North Yorkshire, England on the Harrogate Line, operated by Northern who provide all passenger train services.

The Monday to Saturday daytime service is generally a half-hourly to Leeds (southbound) and to Harrogate and Knaresborough (northbound) on the Harrogate Line with an hourly service onwards to York.

Evenings and Sundays, there is generally an hourly service from Leeds through Hornbeam Park, towards Harrogate, Knaresborough and York.

The route is usually served by a collection of Pacer and Sprinter units operated by Northern. Normally, Class 144s, Class 150s and Class 155s run on this line.

Access to both platforms is step-free, and although the station is unstaffed, ramps are available for access to the trains from the platforms.
