Hu Xia (Chinese: 胡夏) is a Chinese singer. He was the winner of the sixth season of Taiwan's One Million Star in 2010.
Hu Xia comes from Guangxi province in southern China. He was 19 years old when he left for Taiwan to participate in the singing competition One Million Star, which he subsequently won in 2010. The host Tao Ching-Ying had predicted that he would be the champion at the beginning of the competition. The judges also consistently gave him high praise for his performances.
Hu Xia studied at Guangxi University's affiliated middle school when he was 12 years old. He had paused his schooling for a year, then went to another school in his hometown. Due to his involvement in One Million Star and his current career as a singer, his studies have been put on hold.
Hu Xia is most well known for singing Those Years (那些年), the theme song for the movie You Are the Apple of My Eye.
