Huangzhong County (Chinese: 湟中县) is a county of Qinghai Province, China. Huangzhong is located at: 36° 25’N; 101° 34’E., or about 80 km east of Lake Koko Nor (Qinghai Hu), and about 10 km southwest of modern Xining. It is under the administration of Xining city.
