Huccha Venkat (Kannada: ಹುಚ್ಚ ವೆಂಕಟ್) is a 2014 Indian Kannada romantic film directed by Huccha Venkat. The film stars Huccha Venkat, Kavitha Bist, Sudarshan, Shailashree, Keerthiraj, Ramesh Bhat, M. S. Umesh in the lead roles.
Music composer Rajesh Ramanath developed the score and soundtrack. The lyrics were written by K. Kalyan, V. Nagendra Prasad and Huccha Venkat.
Two of the most notable controversies center around this movie. Director of this movie Huccha Venkat claimed he was married to the Kannada actress Ramya and gave an expletive-laden rant to a television interviewer, while promoting this movie. Ramya responded to Venkat's claims by filing a police report and publicly refuting his statements, to which Venkat did not issue any response - although he did stop claiming Ramya was his wife. Venkat's rant, which was sparked by the poor opening turnout for this film, quickly went viral on YouTube and spawned several parody videos.
