Hypselodoris maculosa is a species of sea slug or dorid nudibranch, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Chromodorididae.
This nudibranch is found in the tropical Indo-Pacific Ocean.
Hypselodoris maculosa has a white and red body with white spots and lines on its dorsum. Its anterior end is often light-purple in colour and the gills and rhinophores are white, lined with red bands. There is a large range of colour variation between individuals of this species.
This species can reach a total length of at least 20 mm and has been observed feeding on yellow sponges from the genus Euryspongia.
