Iglot (lit. Egglet) is a Philippine television drama series created by GMA Network and a spin-off of Mulawin. It premiered on GMA Telebabad and GMA Pinoy TV on August 29, 2011 and August 31, 2011, respectively. Starring Claudine Barretto, together with Jolina Magdangal, Marvin Agustin, Luis Alandy, Patrick Garcia, Pauleen Luna, and introducing Milkcah Wynne Nacion .
The legend of the Unggiko tells of the odd, funny and healing creatures who are pets of the human-birds Mulawin. In the middle of the war, the Ravenas attacked and killed the Unggiko except for one egg which Aviona saved. This egg is hidden inside a volcano and will only go out when the volcano erupts. This volcanic eruption led to the separation of Mariella and her daughter Isabella, who ended up in the hands of Lola Idang. The little girl found a peculiar egg which she named Iglot. On the other hand, Mariella was made to believe that her daughter is dead, though in her heart she knows she is not.
