Imagine Homes Ltd was a real estate company in the United Kingdom, specializing in residential property. Imagine Homes operated in the UK buy-to-let industry, buying properties from developers, furnishing them, and then selling them to others to rent out. The company was headquartered in Farnborough, Hampshire, and had offices in Canary Wharf, Dubai, Singapore, and Dublin.
It was founded by Grant Bovey in 2003, and grew substantially until 2009. In 2009, Bovey lost control of the company after the property market faltered. The company was recapitalised by a £37.5 m equity-and-debt injection from HBOS. HBOS, as part of their refinancing, asked for improved Corporate Governance within Imagine Homes. They recruited two non-executive directors to the board.
Imagine Homes Limited was placed into administration in May 2009, which it did not come out of.
