Ingham Township is a civil township of Ingham County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,061 at the 2000 census.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 32.7 square miles (85 km2), of which 32.7 square miles (85 km2) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) (0.09%) is water. Slightly more than half of the Dansville State Game Area is in the south of the township on the boundary with Bunker Hill Township.
As of the census of 2000, there were 2,061 people, 722 households, and 581 families residing in the township. The population density was 63.1 per square mile (24.4/km²). There were 737 housing units at an average density of 22.6 per square mile (8.7/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 97.23% White, 0.10% African American, 0.49% Native American, 0.29% Asian, 0.58% from other races, and 1.31% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.41% of the population.
There were 722 households out of which 38.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 69.0% were married couples living together, 7.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.4% were non-families. 15.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.85 and the average family size was 3.18.
