Instead is the first album by synthpop duo Onetwo. It was released as a CD and as a download. The album contains two covers: Pink Floyd's "Have a Cigar" and Cat Power's "I Don't Blame You".

Contributors include Martin Gore of Depeche Mode, who co-wrote and played guitar on the single "Cloud Nine".

All songs were written by Claudia Brücken and Paul Humphreys, except where noted.

All tracks, except "Signals" and "Heaven", were recorded at Magnetic Fields, London.
