Ixonia is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Ixonia, Jefferson County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,624 at the 2010 census.
Ixonia is located at 43°08′38″N 88°35′50″W / 43.14389°N 88.59722°W (43.1438923, -88.5973230).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.0 square miles (7.7 km²), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 642 people, 237 households, and 181 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 216.8 people per square mile (83.7/km²). There were 248 housing units at an average density of 32.3 persons/km² (83.7 persons/sq mi). The racial makeup of the CDP was 98.91% White, 0.16% Native American, 0.16% Asian, and 0.78% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.78% of the population.
There were 237 households out of which 37.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.4% were married couples living together, 7.2% have a woman whose husband does not live with her, and 23.6% were non-families. 18.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.71 and the average family size was 3.10.
