Jamhuri Sports Club, is a football (soccer) club from Zanzibar based in Pemba Island. Jamhuri established in 1953 at that time was called Albaraghashi after Zanizibar revolution In 1964 changed to Jamhuri. The main rival team is Mwenge SC both team located at second big city called Wete. Jamhuri is first team from Pemba Island to be crowned champion in Zanzibar premier league.
