Kamen Rider Build (仮面ライダービルド Kamen Raidā Birudo) is a Japanese tokusatsu drama in Toei Company's Kamen Rider series. It is the nineteenth series in the Heisei period run and the twenty-eighth series overall. Toei registered the Kamen Rider Build trademark on June 5, 2017. The show will premiere in Fall 2017, following the finale of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, joining Uchu Sentai Kyuranger in the Super Hero Time line-up.
Ten years ago, a mysterious artifact nicknamed "Pandora's Box" was found on Mars. Once on Earth, it created walls separating Japan into three regions: Seito, Hokuto, and Touto, and brought about unidentified and hostile lifeforms called the Smash.
In the present, Sento Kiryu, a genius physicist with no memory of his past other than being held captive by the mysterious Night Rogue, begins working with the Touto government to uncover the mystery of Pandora's Box. However, unknown to the government or police, Sento becomes Kamen Rider Build to fight the Smash.
Kamen Rider Build makes his debut appearance as a cameo in Kamen Rider Ex-Aid the Movie: True Ending.
A Movie War film, titled Kamen Rider Heisei Generations Final (仮面ライダー平成ジェネレーションズ ファイナル Kamen Raidā Heisei Jenerēshonzu Fainaru) was announced to be released on December 9, 2017. It will feature all Kamen Riders (particularly from Heisei era) besides the casts from Kamen Rider Build and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid.
