Kenny Lucas and Keith Lucas are twin American comedians known collectively as The Lucas Brothers. Besides stand-up, they are actors, writers, and producers.
They were born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. In addition, they spent some time in High Point, North Carolina. At the age of five, their father was sent to prison for assault with a deadly weapon. Thus, they were raised by a single mother. Despite this, they managed to excel academically: the brothers graduated with honors from the College of New Jersey in 2007 with degrees in philosophy. Kenny attended New York University School of Law while Keith attended Duke University School of Law until the middle of their third year of law school, when they dropped out to pursue stand-up comedy full-time. Kenny is older than Keith by several minutes.
They made their late-night debut on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon in 2012. The duo created the animated series Lucas Bros. Moving Co., starred on truTV's Friends of the People and appeared in 2014's 22 Jump Street. In 2016, they starred on Fox's The Grinder and on the Netflix original series Lady Dynamite.
The Lucas Brothers released their first comedy special, "On Drugs" on Netflix in April 2017. Paste Magazine ranked it as the 5th best comedy special of 2017.
