Kimitoön (Finnish: Kemiönsaari) is a municipality of Finland. It was created on January 1, 2009, when the municipalities of Dragsfjärd, Kimito and Västanfjärd were consolidated into a single municipality.
The municipality is located in the Archipelago Sea in the Southwest Finland region. The municipality has a population of 6,906 (31 March 2016) and covers an area of 686.96 square kilometres (265.24 sq mi) of which 2,113.94 km2 (816.20 sq mi) is water. The population density is 10.05 inhabitants per square kilometre (26.0/sq mi).
Kimitoön is bilingual with the majority speaking Swedish and a minority Finnish as their native language.
