Kings Bay Base is a census-designated place (CDP) in Camden County, Georgia, United States; it is a US Navy Base. The population was 1,777 at the 2010 census.
Kings Bay Base is located in southeastern Camden County at 30°47′53″N 81°33′54″W / 30.79806°N 81.56500°W (30.798022, -81.564966). It is bordered to the west by the city of St. Marys.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.9 square miles (5.0 km2), of which 0.031 square miles (0.08 km2), or 1.62%, is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 2,599 people, 429 households, and 425 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 1,269.4 people per square mile (489.5/km²). There were 434 housing units at an average density of 212.0/sq mi (81.7/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 72.41% White, 20.01% African American, 0.50% Native American, 0.81% Asian, 0.08% Pacific Islander, 3.73% from other races, and 2.46% from two or more races.
