Kolchuginsky District (Russian: Кольчу́гинский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the sixteen in Vladimir Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,148 square kilometers (443 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Kolchugino. Population: 56,351 (2010 Census); 11,405 (2002 Census);16,312 (1989 Census). The population of Kolchugino accounts for 81.2% of the district's total population.
