Little River-Academy is a city in Bell County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,961 at the 2010 census. It is part of the KilleenTempleFort Hood Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Little River-Academy is located southeast of the center of Bell County at 30°59′N 97°21′W / 30.983°N 97.350°W / 30.983; -97.350 (30.9851, -97.3551). The city consists of two once-distinct settlements: Little River, situated 2 miles (3 km) east of the confluence of the Leon River and Lampasas River to form the Little River, a tributary of the Brazos River; and Academy, centered 1.5 miles (2.4 km) east of Little River, at the intersection of Main Street and Texas State Highway 95. The intersection in Academy is 10 miles (16 km) south of the city of Temple.

According to the United States Census Bureau, Little River-Academy has a total area of 2.7 square miles (7.1 km2), of which 0.004 square miles (0.01 km2), or 0.20%, is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1,645 people, 584 households, and 439 families residing in the city. The population density was 599.3 people per square mile (231.8/km²). There were 618 housing units at an average density of 225.1 per square mile (87.1/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 88.75% White, 0.36% African American, 0.36% Indigenous American, 0.55% Asian, 6.81% from other races, and 3.16% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 12.22% of the population.
