Magrahat Paschim (Vidhan Sabha constituency) (earlier known as Magrahat West) is an assembly constituency in South 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal.
As per orders of the Delimitation Commission, No. 142 Magrahat Paschim (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is composed of the following: Magrahat I community development block and Netra gram panchayat of Diamond Harbour I community development block.
Magrahat Paschim (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is part of No. 20 Mathurapur (Lok Sabha constituency). It was earlier part of Jadavpur (Lok Sabha constituency).
Magrahat West & Magrahat East was a joint seat in 1951 named Magrahat. Md. Abdul Hashem fakir of Indian National Congress won the Magrahat seat.
