Medchal−Malkajgiri is a district in the Indian state of Telangana. Medchal is the headquarter of the district. It was a part of Ranga Reddy district before the re-organisation of districts in the state.
The district is spread over an area of 1,084 square kilometres (419 sq mi).
As of 2011[update]census of India, the district is the second most populous district in the state with a population of 24,40,073.
The district will have two revenue divisions of Keesara and Malkajgiri. They are sub-divided into 14 mandals. M.V.Reddy is the present collector of the district.
