Mel Homer is a New Zealand television presenter and radio presenter. She currently hosts the Three morning show The Café alongside with Mike Puru. She also presents the morning radio show on Mix 98.2 from Monday to Friday. Homer started her career as a producer for Breakfast Radio at Classic Hits (now known as The Hits) in the late 1990s.
Homer worked in Hong Kong at Radio Television Hong Kong (RTKH) from 1998 to 2004.
Homer is currently the radio host for New Zealand's Mix98 in the mornings. She has previously worked for The Hits, Newstalk ZB and Radio Hauraki.
In 2015 Homer was the host for a show on Choice TV called My Dream Room. From the start of April 2016, Homer started hosting the Three morning show The Café alongside with Mike Puru.
Homer spent six years in Hong Kong, from 1998 to 2004. She worked at Radio Television Hong Kong around this time. She has 3 children, one of which was born in Hong Kong. She is married to New Zealand sailmaker Andy Pilcher.
