Melampodium leucanthum (plains blackfoot, blackfoot daisy) is an herbaceous perennial plant in the sunflower family (Asteraceae) found on limestone containing rocky slopes in the Sonoran Desert. It is an attractive ornamental with showy flowers and long bloom period, from March to November.
