The Village of Milford is a village in the northeast part of the Town of Milford, in Otsego County, New York, in the United States. It is northeast of Oneonta. As of the 2010 census, the village had a population of 415.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.5 square miles (1.2 km²), all on land.
The village is located on New York State Route 28 (North Main Street and South Main Street) at the intersection of New York State Route 166 (East Main Street) and County Highway 44 (West Main Street). NY 166 has its western terminus at this intersection.
As of the census of 2000, there were 511 people, 198 households, and 143 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,071.2 people per square mile (411.0/km²). There were 232 housing units at an average density of 486.4 per square mile (186.6/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 96.67% White, 0.20% Black or African American, 0.59% Native American, 0.98% Asian, and 1.57% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.15% of the population.
There were 198 households out of which 37.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 48.0% were married couples living together, 18.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.3% were non-families. 20.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.56 and the average family size was 2.90.
