P.P. Mohammed Faizal is an Indian politician belonging to the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). He is a member of parliament (16th Lok Sabha) from Lakshadweep. He defeated Muhammed Hamdulla Sayeed in the Indian general election, 2014.
Mohammed Faizal is a popular politician among the people of Lakshadweep who has been called a 'far sighted visionary'.
Mohammed Faizal was elected to parliament on a platform of increasing employment, protecting the livelihoods of fishermen, providing improved healthcare to citizens of Lakshadweep and promoting the island's tourist industry. He was also elected as the party whip of NCP for 16th Lok Sabha.
