Mount Dido

Mount Dido (77°30′S 160°57′E / 77.500°S 160.950°E / -77.500; 160.950Coordinates: 77°30′S 160°57′E / 77.500°S 160.950°E / -77.500; 160.950) is a prominent peak, 2,070 metres (6,800 ft) high, between Mount Electra and Mount Boreas in the Olympus Range of Victoria Land, Antarctica. It was named by the Victoria University of Wellington Antarctic Expedition of 1958–59 for Queen Dido, a figure in Greek mythology.
