Nicholas Caldwell (April 5, 1944 – January 5, 2016) was an American singer and musician, and original member of R&B vocal group The Whispers.
He helped found The Whispers in Los Angeles, in 1963. He composed some of their songs, including "Lady".
Caldwell died on January 5, 2016 of congestive heart failure at his home in San Francisco. He was 71.
