Nimbarus is a spider genus of the Salticidae family (jumping spiders). Its single described species, Nimbarus pratensis, is found in Guinea.
The genus was erected in 2002 by Christine Rollard and Wanda Wesołowska for the species Nimbarus pratensis. The generic name is derived from the Nimba Mountains where the species was found. The specific name pratensis is derived from the Latin for "meadow", the habitat of the species.
The spider is about 4 millimetres (0.16 in) long. Only the male has been described.
