Northdale is an unincorporated census-designated place in Hillsborough County, Florida, United States. Northdale was named by the combination of the words in North Dale Mabry. North Dale Mabry Hwy is the main road through the Northdale area. The population was 22,079 at the 2010 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the community has a total area of 8.4 square miles (22 km2), of which 7.9 square miles (20 km2) is land and 0.6 square miles (1.6 km2) (6.51%) is water.
