Nová Říše (Czech pronunciation: [ˈnovaːˈr̝iːʃɛ]); German Neureisch) is a village and municipality (obec) in Jihlava District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 7.85 square kilometres (3.03 sq mi), and has a population of 855 (as at 2005).
Nová Říše lies approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of Jihlava and 134 km (83 mi) south-east of Prague.
The area has an old Norbertine monastery. Five members of the community were gassed to death by the Nazis in 1942. Surviving monks were sentenced to prison and labour camps by the Communists in 1950. The buildings were given back to the Order after the fall of Communism in 1991.
