Osamu Sato (佐藤理? Sato Osamu, born April 14, 1960 in Kyoto, Japan) is a Japanese digital artist, photographer, and composer. His first work was the abstract typographical collection "Alphabetical Orgasm", exhibited in Tokyo in November 1991. His first work in the video game industry was Eastern Mind: The Lost Souls of Tong-Nou, first released for the Macintosh in May 1994, and Microsoft Windows in 1995. In 1998, he produced and composed the music for LSD on the Sony PlayStation, which later became his most recognizable work outside Japan.
