Oscar Albarado (born September 15, 1948 in Pecos, Texas) is a former American professional boxer who competed in the light middleweight (154 lb) division and held the world light middleweight championship.
Known as "Shotgun", Albarado turned pro in 1967 and captured the World light middleweight championship when he upset Koichi Wajima by KO in 1974. He defended the crown once before losing it in a rematch to Wajima in 1975 by decision. He retired after the loss.
Albarado launched an unsuccessful comeback 5 years later, retiring in 1982 after several losses.
