Osteoglossum is a genus of fish in the family Osteoglossidae. The genus contains two species: the silver arowana (O. bicirrhosum) and the black arowana (O. ferreirai). They reach almost 1 m (3.3 ft) in length and are restricted to freshwater habitats in tropical South America.
