Patur is a city and a municipal council in Akola district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
Patur is located at 20°27′N 76°56′E / 20.45°N 76.93°E. It has an average elevation of 341 m (1,119 ft).
As of 2001[update] India census, Patur had a population of 20,531. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%.
