Peerla is a 1998 studio album by Italian rock band Elio e le Storie Tese, composed mainly of previously unreleased tracks, like the various opening themes for Italian television program Mai dire Gol, and studio outtakes. It has been republished in a digital version in 2000, with the addition of the song "Tenia".
In Milanese dialect, "pirla" is an insult meaning "idiot", while "perla" is the Italian for "pearl"; the double entendre focuses on the English pronunciation of "ee".
