Penonomé District is a district (distrito) of Coclé Province in Panama. The population according to the 2000 census was 72,448. The district covers a total area of 1700 km². The capital lies at the city of Penonomé.
The district is divided administratively into the following corregimientos:
Penonomé (capital), Cañaveral, Coclé, Chiguirí Arriba, El Coco, Pajonal, Río Grande, Río Indio, Toabré and Tulú.
