Joan Freeman (born 22 January 1958) is an Irish psychologist and politician who has served as a Senator since May 2016, upon being Nominated by the Taoiseach. She is the founder of the Pieta House suicide prevention charity.
She is closely associated with the Catholic hierarchy being a member of the Irish Catholic Bishops Commission on Social Affairs.
