Pochepsky District (Russian: По́чепский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Bryansk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the center of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,887 square kilometers (729 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Pochep. Population: 42,365 (2010 Census); 46,972 (2002 Census);48,957 (1989 Census). The population of Pochep accounts for 40.5% of the district's total population.
