The film won two Genie Awards at the 20th Genie Awards, including Best Actress (Moreau) and Best Screenplay (Bélanger); it also won that year's Claude Jutra Award for the best film by a first-time director. It was also a nominee for Best Picture, Best Actor (Arcand) and Best Director (Bélanger).
