Poth (/poʊθ/ poath) is a town in Wilson County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,908 at the 2010 census. It is part of the San Antonio Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Poth is located at 29°4′19″N 98°4′50″W / 29.07194°N 98.08056°W (29.072069, -98.080562). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.2 square miles (8.3 km²), all of it land. This is about 35 mi (56 km) southeast of Downtown San Antonio.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,850 people, 623 households, and 490 families residing in the town. The population density was 579.7 people per square mile (223.9/km²). There were 663 housing units at an average density of 207.7 per square mile (80.2/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 66.43% White, 0.43% African American, 0.92% Native American, 0.16% Asian, 29.08% from other races, and 2.97% multiracial.
