Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of Pakistan

Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister of Pakistan (also referred to as PSPM) is the most senior bureaucratic aide to the Prime Minister of Pakistan. The position holder is a BPS-22 grade officer, usually belonging to the Pakistan Administrative Service. The Principal Secretary assists the Prime Minister in administrative as well as policy related issues and is the top official of the Prime Minister's Office. The position is considered to be among the three most powerful bureaucratic positions in the country- alongside Cabinet Secretary of Pakistan and Establishment Secretary of Pakistan.

The current Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister is Fawad Hasan Fawad.
