Qapal (Kazakh: Қапал), formerly known as Kopal (Russian: Копал), is a village in Aksu District in Almaty Region of south-eastern Kazakhstan. It is situated on the Qapal River. Until 1921, it was an uyezd center of the Semirechye Oblast.
