RRH Buchan is a Remote Radar Head operated by the Royal Air Force.
RRH Buchan was formed on 1 Sept 2004 following the closure of RAF Buchan. The site is under the control the Detachment Commander (DetCo) and is responsible for the operational 24/7 availability of its radar, a Type 92 long range surveillance radar which inputs into the UK Air Surveillance And Control System (ASACS).
