Raya Oromo people

The Raya Oromo people (also Rayyaa) are an Oromo subgroup inhabiting an area from the historic Wollo Province to Lake Ashenge in Ethiopia.

The Raya Oromo speak an Oromo dialect. However, linguistic descriptions of the Raya and nearby Wollo Oromo areas are still lacking.
