Reginald Hankey


Reginald Hankey (3 November 1832 – 25 August 1886) was an English first-class cricketer, active from 1853 to 1860.

Born at Marylebone, London, Hanley was educated at Harrow School and Balliol College, Oxford. He was a right-handed batsman and right arm medium pace roundarm bowler who was mainly associated with Oxford University, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) and Surrey, and made 18 known appearances in first-class matches. He played for the Gentlemen in the Gentlemen v Players series.

His cousin Frederick Alers Hankey also played first-class cricket for MCC.

Hankey died in 1886 in Brighton, Sussex.
